Christmas is a very special time for us all. What I love most are the fun traditions that my small family has created over the years. One very special moment is the annual Christmas Tree Hunt.
We head to a secluded part of the province (always within a designated cut block), and check our usual spots to see if there are any good candidates for our tree.
We have a small space, so the tree can’t be too big, or too bushy. It must be just right. This year, our usual spots were not yielding, so we got creative and headed down a steep slope. Payload! We found the perfect tree.
Finally, we get the tree home and decorated. Ah, it fits just right.
I know it must seem that I spend all my time in the mountains, but cultivating a strong family life is equally important.

Love all the festive family photos. Sounds like you have some wonderful Christmas traditions!
