The East Peak of Mount Burns is one of the first big peaks at the end of the Sheep River highway. It is a picturesque mounting, with lots of route finding options.
It is rated a Moderate scramble, and there are opportunities to do some harder scrambling, or to avoid those parts as you choose.
The false summit looks very daunting, and can be challenging route finding.
A great mountain for the experienced scrambler.
