Bonnington Traverse – Copper Hut to Bonnington Falls (Plan B)

This is Day 4 of the Bonnington Traverse. Due to a huge dump of snow and increased avalanche hazards, we took Plan B and exited via Bonninton Dam. Still a worthy trip, but we may have to be back to nab those peaks we missed.

Blueberry Hill

Blueberry Hill is a lookout over Kananaskis Lake at the Elk Pass area. This report is for cross-country skiers, but there are lots of multi-use trails here as well.

Cornice Ridge at Kootenay Pass

Cornice Ridge is an accessible ski tour from the top of Kootenay Pass. While there are problems, the skiing was amazing. I will be back.

Iron Springs Loop at WBC
