Happy Valentine’s Day

Not sure what to get your special outdoor friend today? Consider these funny cards.

I’ve had my googles fog up numerous times. It’s normally a royal pain in the butt, but not on Valentines πŸ™‚

I will be your friend on a pow day, but ONLY if you can keep up. Love only extends so far.

We all know wool and synthetic base layers are vastly superior to cotton for keeping you cool.

Now this is true love. When my hubby waxes my skis, I know he still loves me after 20 years of marriage.

Even I had to think about this one, as I’m a fixed heel backcountry skier. The “free the heel” enthusiasts will recognize the telemark knee dip on every turn.

I hope you enjoyed these fun Valentine’s Day cards. I have tried to find the original artist to give them full credit, but with no success. If you recognize them or the artist, please let me know in the comments.

    & nice post.Have a lovely Day.😊

  5. I go out for walks in my town or nearby towns in the winter. But that’s about the extent of my outdoor winter activities. I did a lot more of them when I was younger. If there was anywhere around here to go sledding, though, I’d probably do it. But there isn’t. (I live in the burbs of Philadelphia.)

  9. Ha, these funny cards are cute. I especially loved the one about the cotton base layer. So true. Hope you had a great Valentine’s Day and were able to spend some time enjoying the snow.

I knew YOU would get that one πŸ™‚
I’m sure people from warm climates are wondering why cotton isn’t good.

We celebrated Valentine’s Day today. Went for a backcountry ski in the Lake Louise area. So cold in the morning, but warmed up and had a lovely ski out.

Did you have a good Valentine’s?

      • Nice! Sounds like a great way to spend the day. We were up at our cabin enjoying the snow as well. We has a massive snowfall last night (about 15cm) so I’m looking forward to hitting the trails with my snowshoes next weekend.
